Booking Terms and Conditions

INFORMATION THAT YOU MUST KNOW BEFORE BOOKING.

RENTAL TERMS & CONDITIONS Bookings are made in the knowledge of, and with full acceptance of, the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

BOOKING PROCEDURE To make a reservation, email us, call us or use our booking form on our website. By making a booking whether by telephone, online, or in person, you are making an offer to purchase the facilities and services requested, which will only be deemed accepted by us when all deposits have been fully paid and we issue your booking confirmation. The resulting contract is deemed to be made on the terms of these booking conditions at our offices and is governed by and construed in accordance with French law.
NOTE that no contract will be made between you and us where a provisional booking or reservation enquiries are made and not supported by your payment of the deposits in full and our issuing you with a booking confirmation.
When your booking is only provisional (i.e. you have not paid the deposits in full), we may hold the chalet on specific dates (at our sole discretion) on this provisional booking for up to 48 hours (unless otherwise agreed in writing). If you have not confirmed your booking within 48 hours, we may release the dates you have provisionally booked to third parties and cancel your option without further notice. It is not always possible to keep options on late availability prices.
In some cases, it may not be possible for you to book online and in such cases, telephone and email enquiries will, upon payment of the relevant deposit, be considered as offers by you that are subject to acceptance by us upon receipt by you of our booking confirmation email. When you receive our booking confirmation email, your booking will be subject to these conditions.
The final balance and bond are due 8 weeks before the arrival date. If payment is not received in full on time, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and levy cancellation charges in accordance with the Cancellation section below.
If you book your holiday less than 8 weeks before the arrival date, full payment is due immediately.
Upon receipt of the final the final balance, we will forward you information and directions to your accommodation, tourist information about the resort, and details of the check in location and process.

HOLIDAY CONTRACT The contract is made on the date we issue confirmation of your booking (via email) from which point on you are said to have booked. No contract or obligation exists between us and you before this date. Your booking of a holiday with us confirms you understand and accept all terms and conditions laid down in our "Booking Terms and Conditions". We reserve the right to change our booking terms and conditions without notice.
This contract does not apply to any services not classed as part of our services, such as childcare, ski lessons, ski hire and lift passes. We have no liability or obligation in relation to these services, and offer no comment on the standard of these services.

PRICES The price quoted includes the accommodation and amenities as described on our website. The price includes everything and you always have exclusive use of the entire chalet and facilities. In case of discrepancies between amenities as described on a 3rd party advertising platform and on our website, the description on our website will take precedence. The price also includes, final cleaning, laundry costs, tourist taxes and VAT. The prices shown or given are per chalet per week (unless otherwise indicated) and are based on maximum guest occupancy.
These prices are quoted for current season /trip & will not be effected by any currency fluctuations. We reserve the right to change the price of unsold holidays at any time. Please check the applicable price of your chosen holiday at the time of booking.

SPECIAL OFFERS We reserve the right, from time to time, to run special promotional offers on events. Special Offers may include, but are not limited to, price promotions. In the event of a Special Offer, additional terms and conditions may apply which will be made available at the time of booking. Special offers, promotions and deals are subject to limited availability and vary in payment conditions.

PAYMENT We operate a strictly "first-paid = first-reserved" basis for bookings so we cannot guarantee availability beyond what you see on this online booking portal and so we recommend you confirm within 48h in order to secure the reservation. Payment instructions - During the reservation process, we provide the bank information needed to process your bank transfer, including the IBAN and BIC codes for the receiving bank account. You must proceed with payment within 2 days of booking your trip so we receive your payment in time to guarantee your reservation. To request a bank transfer, you must do the following:

  • Use your bank's online banking service (if your bank offers online bank transfers)
  • Complete a bank transfer request form at your bank
Depending on your country, please indicate the reference number - the reservation number in the payment instructions. This information helps us link the payment to your reservation.
As soon as we receive your full payment, we will send you an e-mail containing your e-ticket.
All payments are to be made in Euro. Any bank charges or cost of transfer must be covered by the guest.
Bookings - To confirm your holiday, we ask for a deposit of 50% - 100% of the full value of your self-catered reservation. If you book within 8 weeks of arrival, we will ask you then for the full cost of the reservation when booking.
Balance - Full payment of the balance as shown on your confirmation invoice is due 8 weeks prior to departure or immediately if the booking is within 8 weeks of departure. We will endeavour to contact you before this date to remind you that the balance is due. If the payment is not received at this point, we reserve the right to cancel your holiday and levy cancellation charges as detailed below. Details will be provided on your booking confirmation email.
Damage Deposit - For all bookings we require a Damage(security) Deposit. The amount required will be specified in your booking confirmation email. It is a condition of booking to provide such a deposit. The damage deposit will be refunded in full within 3 days after departure provided there is no loss or damage to the chalet. The Guest is responsible for all damages excluding wear and tear, and including those which exceed the deposit amount.
Accidents do happen, and we would ask you to let us know of any breakages so the items can be replaced. Any breakages/damage may be deducted from your bond, as will excessive cleaning and laundry. The amount charged for such breakages is entirely at the chalet manager’s reasonable discretion, and will be based on the replacement or repair cost invoice.

ACTIVITIES & SERVICES We can help you arrange Ski hire, ski lessons and lift passes and also for something a little more challenging we can arrange a mountain guide. We can also help with additional services from spa treatments, massages, yoga, wine tasting and restaurant reservations right through to more challenging and unique requests. As an owner operated Chalet we are always on hand to help with any requests you have during your stay.
We cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for the quality of any activities or services provided by 3rd party providers, whether booked as a service by us or otherwise, and cannot under any circumstances be held liable for any accidental injury, death or damage/loss to personal effects of the Guest during such activities or services.
Additional Services - Private airport transfers, ski instruction, private chef, extra cleaning, massage, half-board or full-board catering and other in resort activities can be arranged for an additional charge.
If you have any special requests (for example travel cot, highchair etc), please let us know at the time of booking.

OCCUPANCY The maximum number of people staying in the chalet must not exceed the advertised capacity, unless by agreed by prior written arrangement with the Manager. Any additional costs associated with over occupancy will be charged to the guest making the booking.

ACCOMMODATION All linen, towels and additional towels for hot tub use are provided. Manager provides a starter kit of soaps, dish detergent, laundry soap, shampoo, toilet paper, paper towels, and other dispensable items. Bath products are available in all of the bathrooms. We provide mid-week housekeeping service. Should the cost of cleaning exceed this fixed amount due to abnormal or abusive use of the chalet, the excess cost will be deducted from the damage deposit. The definition of abnormal or abusive use of the chalet is at the Manager’s reasonable discretion.

CANCELLATIONS In the unfortunate circumstance that you have to cancel your holiday, please provide written notice at the earliest opportunity. Cancellation charges will apply as shown below:

  • More than 7 days before check-in, NO FEE will be charged and a full refund will be received.
  • Less than 7 days prior to arrival: 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
  • Less than 1 day prior to arrival: 100% cancellation fee will be charged.
All payments for Ski Hire and Lift Passes paid directly to us will be refunded 100% with no deductions up until your arrival date in resort. You have the right to cancel any of these services, for any reason, up until this point and will receive a full refund for amounts paid.
We strongly recommend that clients take out cancellation insurance to protect themselves in the event of unforeseen cancellations.

ALTERATIONS BY US If, before your holiday, we find ourselves obliged to change one of the principle elements of the reservation, we will inform you immediately.
You can then either cancel the contract and receive a full reimbursement of the booking, or accept the proposed change, and we will issue a revised booking confirmation to this effect.
We will however only make changes in exceptional circumstances including, but not limited to, frozen pipes, loss of electricity and heating.
In the unlikely event of us having to cancel your booking should the accommodation become unavailable due to exceptional circumstances, we will refund your deposit or any payments you have made for your accommodation in full.

BEHAVIOUR When you make a booking with us, you accept responsibility for the proper conduct of the whole party. We reserve the right to terminate your rental due to any misconduct that we consider likely to cause damage or danger to the property, its contents, to neighbouring properties, or distress/danger to neighbours. You agree to indemnify us against any claims and legal costs, made against us by or on behalf of the owner of the property.

PROBLEMS/COMPLAINTS In the unlikely event that you have cause for dissatisfaction or wish to make a complaint, please contact us immediately, so we can try to resolve any issues. We can only deal with any problems or complaints that have been notified to us during the holiday.

INSURANCE It is a condition of booking that you ensure that you have adequate insurance to cover cancellation, medical or accident costs or requirements, mountain rescue, repatriation, personal belongings, and third party liability including personal injury claims and damage to rented property and equipment. The Guest expressly indemnifies us against all costs relating to such eventualities. Neither the Owner or Manager shall be held responsible in any way for accidental injury, death or damage/loss to personal effects of the Guest. If, due to circumstances beyond the Owner’s control, such as flood, fire, hurricane or other damage, the Owner is unable to honour this agreement, the Damage Deposit and advance payments shall be fully refunded provided said damage was not the fault of the Guest.

LINKS FROM OUR SITE Where our site contains links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, these links are provided for your information only. We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources, and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

RIGHT OF ENTRY Whilst respecting the reasonable privacy of the client, the chalet manager, or a person appointed by the chalet manager, reserves the right to access all properties at all times, if necessary, for repairs and emergencies.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE The maximum number of people staying in the property must not exceed the advertised capacity, unless by agreed by prior written arrangement with the property manager. Any additional costs associated with over occupancy will be charged to the client making the booking.
Our check in time is from 16:00 to 23:59 on your arrival date. Checkout is 10:00 on your departure day. Earlier arrival and later departures can be agreed subject to prior arrangement. If the chalet is ready in advance of this time, you are welcome to check-in earlier. We will request confirmation of your time of arrival at the time your final payment is settled. Please ensure that we are clearly advised well in advance if you are due to arrive after 21:00 so that we can make arrangements for your check-in. We will always do our best to accomodate your needs!

INFORMATION & ACCURACY The information and prices shown on this website may have changed by the time you come to make your booking. Although we make every possible effort to ensure the accuracy of the website information and prices at the time of printing, regrettably errors do occasionally occur. You must therefore ensure you check the price and all other details of your chosen booking with us at the time of booking.

PETS No pets allowed unless by prior written arrangement.

SMOKING Non-smoking areas including the bedrooms, bathrooms, and in the hot tubs, but guests are permitted to smoke on the balconies.

YOUR RESPONSABILITIES As part of this contract you hereby agree to guarantee payment for any chargeable services requested by any member of your group both before and during your holiday. We reserve the right to recover from you the cost of breakages, damage to accommodation etc caused with or without intent by you or any member of your party. We do not accept liability for financial loss or damage to property suffered by you other than due to the negligence of us or our employees.

AMENDMENTS BY YOU These must be confirmed in writing. They will come into effect on the day they are received. You hereby agree to indemnify us for any reasonable expenses incurred in making an amendment.

LAW AND JURISDICTION The contract between us and you, and any matters arising from it, will be governed under French law and are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of France.
